Battery storage

Battery storage

Save electricity generated by renewables and/or with low rate electricity to batteries and use it to provide power during peak periods at a later date when power is more expensive.

Battery Storage systems can be used in conjunction with onsite generation to store electricity that is generated but not used, rather than exporting it back to the grid. This will be complemented by the batteries being charged with night rate electricity.

Battery Storage systems can be housed internally or externally, and larger systems can be up to 1MWh.

The system can intelligently manage peak shaving which prevents charges for excess demand being incurred. The system is fully automatic in operation and typically supports a <5 year Return On Investment.
